Managing difficult soils is ranked as a high priority issue for RCSN members in both the Esperance and Albany port zones.
Of particular interest to both was the ability to better identify what soil types responded best to different amelioration techniques, and their economic break down.
FBG will be hosting a Difficult Soils Forum on 25 July to address some of these issues.
Thank you to GIWA, GRDC & DPIRD for facilitating.
FBG is proud to host an information session on Native Fodder Revegetation with native plant agronomist Dr Geoff Woodall.
We will visit an existing site that is being revegetated with native fodder plant species as an added value animal forage for livestock producers.
Accreditation and permits are required for landholders to possess and use registered 1080 or strychnine products for vertebrate animal control on leasehold or freehold land. Only authorized users can use 1080 poisons. A free workshop is being held to allow landholders within the Shire of Jerramungup to become accredited users of 1080 baits to be used for feral animal control.
Join us for a focussed workshop on animal nutrition and managing soils in dry seasons. Despite current rain, this should be a timely and very informative day. Depending on your business, you can choose to attend the day on cattle or sheep
