The Fitzgerald Biosphere Group (FBG) is seeking a new Executive Officer. This is a great opportunity to work in a small team of passionate individuals within a progressive farming community in the Shire of Jerramungup on the beautiful South Coast of WA.
The EO position is 0.6 FTE based in Jerramungup.
The role entails day-to-day governance, human resources, financial and project management, as well as building new projects, delivering some of the current projects and supporting staff.
Key duties:
· Lead a small team of project officers and support staff
· Source and access funding to fulfil the group’s objectives
· Develop and implement new projects
· Along with project staff, coordinate and manage all aspects of the group’s activities, services and operations
· Along with the finance officer, maintain and coordinate sound financial management practices both for the group and projects
· Along with the communications officer and project staff, oversee the marketing and communications of the group to its members, key partners and industry stakeholders
· Effectively manage all staff relations and maintain appropriate HR and WHS management policy and practices
