Native Fodder Revegetation Demonstration Workshop

FBG is proud to host an information session on Native Fodder Revegetation with native plant agronomist Dr Geoff Woodall.

We will visit an existing site that is being revegetated with native fodder plant species as an added value animal forage for livestock producers.

Topics covered on the day include:

 the use of native forage and fodder shrubs in a revegetation system

 the process of planting native forage and fodder shrubs for a revegetation system

 improved animal productivity and health

 sustainable livestock systems that have the potential to meet emerging consumer and market demands

 protection and prevention of soils from erosion and salt encroachment while value adding to marginal land.
